Artur Blusiewicz

Artur Blusiewicz born in 1983, he graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, specializing in screen printing. In 2009, he received the Creative Scholarship of the City of Krakow. In 2017, he earned the title of Doctor of Arts for his work “Perpendicularity of Strings,” presented at the Henryk Gallery during the exhibition titled “Is it possible to make shoes out of food?” He is a co-founder of the Gili-Gili collective and a member of the Krakow Academics Collective. Currently, he works at his alma mater. His artistic practice encompasses drawing, painting, illustration, installation, and artistic objects. He has illustrated for magazines including KTW, Magazyn Kontakt, Polityka, Pismo. Magazyn Opinii, and Kultura Enter.
